Computing in Year 1

Computing in Year 1

As part of our Computing block, we have been learning about inputs and outputs. We have been using our Bee Bots to discuss what our output will be if we input some instructions. Then, we used Scratch Jr on our Ipads to make our cat grow and shrink. We had to drag different blocks and figure out how to sequence our instructions so that they would work in the correct order.

E-Safety Competition

E-Safety Competition

All children from Years 1-6 will be bringing home a poster for our E-Safety poster competition. Competition closes on Tuesday 6th February, as this is Safer Internet Day. Winners will be announced in assembly the following Friday. All children have been learning about different elements of E-safety in their computing lessons. Please ask them about this.
