Earlier in the week, Year 5 and Year 6 had a visit from the Eagles.
Year 1 have been using their balancing skills to complete a obstacle course in the gym. We has to climb, move, balance and swing to complete the course. The children had lots of fun and gained confidence each time they had another turn.
Year 5 have been working hard and building up a regular sweat in PE lessons this half-term. We have been working on improving our stamina, speed and strength in a Fitness block of learning. It’s been tough work at times but we have encouraged each other and shown determination to complete each exercise.
Together we ran a total of 2820 laps, which is the equivalent to 218 miles!
Thank you for all of the sponsors we received.
We all had a great day running our Race for Life together!
This week has been PE week. We had to choose an Olympic sport and we decided to learn about boxing. We researched different Olympic boxers, found out about world records and discovered how boxers train. On Friday, we looked at some different moves and had a go at non-contact boxing. We made sure our friends were a distance away and told them the move we were going to make before making it. The children had lots of fun trying out some different kicks and jabs.
